Focus CAT Landskap
Focus CAT Landskap is our landscape design solution. It is an add-on module for Autodesk Civil 3D, adapted for design according to Norwegian requirements and needs.
The package includes the core project start-up functionality from Focus CAT Basis, such as import and purchase of SOSI map data, WMS/WFS sources and much more. You can manage and edit SOSI data on imported objects, or design new objects and enrich them. You can export the result again, so the solution can be used both for project start-up and for producing deliverables.
With Focus CAT Landskap, you can create full-fledged BIM discipline models. You can design advanced terrain interventions and model curbs, walls and 3D objects from surface models. These objects can be further enriched with relevant data for generating discipline models.
The solution also offers functionality for drawing visual section and plan views, so you can produce drawings from the model efficiently.
By combining the strong features of Autodesk Civil 3D and Focus CAT Landskap, you get a complete solution for designing high-quality landscape models.

An automatic terrain model from SOSI, with control over points and lines. Or use terrain from scan data or other sources.

Elevation and slope analyses with exportable definitions.

Curbs, walls, points and planting areas with a plant database.

Define the superstructure
Extract volume geometry from designed surfaces with the Define Superstructure function.

Tag with property sets
Property sets give objects BIM metadata throughout the project. Volumes from Define Superstructure also get an automatic data set of properties.

Produce deliverables
Export the 3D DWG model to IFC 4.3 for deliverables, or use the DWG file in Navisworks for coordination.

Produce drawings
Sections and visual views provide a drawing basis directly from the discipline model.
